EJ Tamayo

Growing up in South Florida, there was no shortage of sports for EJ to play and participate in. EJ played soccer, flag football and baseball. But, very early on, it was obvious that EJ had a passion for racing as he loved to watch NASCAR, INDY and F1 with his dad. That passion and his dedication to excellence have afforded great opportunities very early on during his racing career.

EJ Tamayo - Driver #10

At the age of 10, EJ began go-kart racing at the AMR Homestead Miami Motorplex track in Homestead, FL. He progressed rapidly accumulating dozens of wins, podiums and series championships. In 2021, at the age of 14, EJ raced in a select and limited number of Pro Late Model races in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series (CPLMS) with Tony Cosentino Racing (TCR). In 2022, the plans are for EJ to race the full CPLMS, other Late Model Races in Florida and the Carolinas, legends car races and Spec Miata races in Florida.
